First graders ended their week with a little bit of Halloween-ish fun! We read a story called The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. We acted it out with puppets and then did a story sequencing activity.
We read the poem, Five Little Pumpkins, listened to the story Pete the Cat and the Five Little Pumpkins, and watched and learned how to do the American Sign Language signs to the poem!
And we did some super fun Haunted House math with ghosts and jack o' lanterns!!
