Four Winds

Our recent Four Winds session focused on predators and prey.  First graders learned how the position of an animal's eyes helps us determine whether the animal is a predator or a prey.  "Eyes in the front, born to hunt.  Eyes on the side, born to hide."  Each type of animal has special adaptations to meet the challenges of their roles in nature.  First graders also got to play a game in the gym and took turns being the predators and the prey.
