Earning Our Last Reward

First graders have been working hard to show respectful behavior in our classroom for the past few weeks and they finally earned their reward: lunch in the classroom with a treat!  Great work first graders!  Just in the nick of time!!

Field Day Highlights

Field day was a blast!!  Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to make it possible!  

We started our morning with a bunch of fun activity stations.

Balloon Surprises

First graders walked into the classroom this morning to find 9 balloons hanging from the ceiling!  Each day we will pop one balloon to discover a special activity for that day. Day 1 was "craft time"!  A mini makers fair happened right in our room!!

Four Winds - Bees

First graders enjoyed their last Four Winds science lesson for the year.  They learned about honey bees  and even got to sample some honey!  Ask your child about the interesting facts that they learned about bees. Some of the facts were fascinating!!
