Visiting Israel

First graders "flew" from Germany to Israel yesterday!  After making it through customs and learning a little about the celebrations that happen there at this time of year, they were treated to a very special guest visitor this morning!  Our very own Ella's mother came in to teach us more about Hanukkah, the story, some their own family's traditions, as well as the dreidel game!  And ofcourse they had to try playing the game, too!! Thank you, Courtney!!

We also read a wonderful story with a beautiful message about helping others who don't have as much as we do.
