2. Take a walk to search for signs of Spring! (Notice changes in trees - buds, pussy willows, etc. Document in your journal.
3. Create a sit spot somewhere in your yard. Use it for observing nature, sounds, journal what you see or wonder about.

5. Write a How To...book.  It could be on how to make maple syrup, planting a garden, building a fairy house, building a bird feeder, surviving boredom :) etc.
6. Make a leaf creature - give them a name and a story.  Draw this story using no words!
7. Make a 10’s frame out of sticks from the outdoors or popsicle sticks.  Find items to go inside. Make some equations!
  Ex. 8+2=10
8. Challenge yourself with 2 frames.  Make equations that equal 20!
9.  Design a fraction flag out of paper or things from nature. Remember a fraction has equal parts!  Give your country a silly name!
Ex. This is separated into 3rds! The red part would be ⅓.
10.  Make 1 or 2 lines of numbers outside on a paved surface up to 20 with chalk.  Have someone ask you equations. If you make 2 lines you can race someone to the number! Or make out of paper/tape to play inside!
