We explored our new pencil boxes and started learning about some of the tools inside them.
We read a book about a box of crayons that could talk and then started a project that had us thinking about what makes each of us unique and special.
After recess and lunch we have Quiet Time before we head into our afternoon activities. This is about ten minutes long and allows us to calm our bodies and minds by listening to some music and looking at some books.
We also had the chance to start exploring some of the math manipulatives that we will be using throughout the year. I can already tell that this a a very creative bunch!!
