What Can You Do With a Leaf?

During Forest Time Thursday today first graders went on a hunt for fall leaves.  We took the extra-long way to get out to our outdoor learning space observing and collecting interesting leaves along the way.  Before we headed outside, we read Look What I Did with a Leaf and learned that our task was to create an animal out of leaves.  And that we did!  What a creative bunch we have!!
