Highlights of Our First Week in First Grade (week of 9/8/20)

We are off to a fantastic start in First Grade!  Our first few days were filled with fun activities as we began getting to know each other and learning some new routines and protocols.  We read some wonderful books, talked about our "first day jitters",  discussed why we need to wear face masks, played with some magic playdoh, and spent time in our outdoor learning spaces, just to name a few.  Here are some snapshots of our days.

Playing with Magic Playdoh

Learning about the importance of wearing face masks and staying healthy.

Calming the butterflies and jitters in our tummies by making some butterfly bracelets and drinking some Jitter Juice!
