First graders began a new writing unit this week - we are learning how to write informational "How To ..." books! We started the unit by having some fun! We went outside and blew some bubbles!! Upon coming back inside, we worked together to write the steps for "How to Blow Bubbles". We realized right away that we needed to add a lot of details and include very specific steps in our book. Otherwise, someone reading our book might not be successful at blowing bubbles. But we did it! We wrote our first "How to ..." book!
We still have a lot to learn, but we are off to a great start!!
