Pattern Block Shapes Fill-Ins

 First Graders have started exploring filling in shape outlines with a variety of patten back shapes. Pattern blocks are comprised is hexagons, trapezoids, rhombuses, squares, and triangles. They also played a game called Fill the Hexagon and discovered the many ways that a hexagon can be made with different shapes fitting together.
