Force and Motion Update

First graders have been extremely busy studying force and motion.  Last week they learned quite a bit about the concept of gravity while also continuing to do some fun experiments.  The experiments that they recently conducted included the following questions:  Does weight have an effect on how a ball rolls?  How does the incline of the ramp effect how a ball rolls?  How does the texture (think friction) of the ramp effect how a ball rolls?
