Plus and Minus 10

First graders have been learning about and practicing adding and subtracting 10 to 2-digit numbers.  Plus and Minus 10 is a wonderful game that involves using a 120 chart as a visual aid to help students learn about this skill.  We first played a round of this game with a giant sized 120 chart as a group.  Then partners played their own game and recorded all of their equations.  Some of them are ready for the next challenge of doing +/- 20 or trying out the game with a 200 chart and some 3-digit numbers!
