Learning About Place Value

Students have been working in small math groups exploring and learning more about the concept of place value.  We have been focusing on the tens and ones places. This group was building a 2-digit number with Base 10 blocks (on mats) and then making the same number with Arrow Cards (which can be pulled apart to see the true value of each digit).
