Book Covers

We had a great first day back and got right back into our opinion writing.  Today students were presented with a collection of books, had to choose which book cover they thought was the best, and then write about their reasons, trying to convince others to agree with them.  We are learning about strategies for how to do this effectively, and thinking about why others might disagree with them as a way to make their argue,met stronger.
