Groundhog Day Predictions
Since our Snow Motion time was canceled last Friday, we took the opportunity to learn about the groundhog and his special day! We learned many interesting facts about this little critter! For example, did you know that groundhogs have 3 different names? It's true! They are also called whistle pigs and woodchucks!
We also learned about the tradition of Groundhog Day and how we make predictions about the amount of winter we might have left. They each made their own predictions about what would happen on Feb. 2. Did the groundhog see it's shadow or not??!!
