Our Week in Review - Week of February 4, 2022
NOTE: We will have a small Valentine’s Day celebration on Monday, February 14, where students can exchange valentine's cards if they so choose. This is a reminder that we cannot allow food to come in to be shared. We look forward to a fun time celebrating friendship and kindness!
First graders accomplished a lot of learning this week!
We did many things, including:
Learned about adding a suffix s to words with “-ng” glued sounds
Continued working on our animal research books
Learned about halves and fourths
Folded some fractions and colored some
Had an All School Morning Meeting with a guest reader (virtual)
L[earned more about how parent animals help their babies and had some great discussions!
Started learning how to tell time to the half-hour
Made Valentine holders - hopefully, they didn’t end up at home with your child! If they did, please send them back in!
