Leaf Safari

First graders went on a leaf safari today - searching for as many different leaves as they could find.  As soon as we walked out our classroom door, we noticed that there were leaves everywhere!  Even the blades of grass are leaves!  Each person collected their own samples which we will use tomorrow to closely examine.
