Starting our Unit on Plants

On Friday we began our last science unit of the year, Plants.  We will be focusing on the life cycle of plants, parts of a plant, and the needs of a plant.  We began by examining a dry bean seed and discussing Living vs Nonliving things.  Before we left for the weekend, we placed our beans in a Baggie with a wet paper towel and hung them in the window.  We wondered what would happen while we were gone!
