Shelburne Farms

We had a beautiful day at the farm today!!  Students experienced the Shelburne Farms' "Farm to You" program today which involved making a pizza with ingredients entirely from the farm!  All first graders were split into 4 groups and each group was in charge of making one part of the pizza: dough, sauce, cheese and toppings.  Half of our class was in the cheese making group, and half was in charge of harvesting and preparing toppings for the pizzas.  Students also got to enjoy some other parts of the farm yard!!

Below are some photos from the cheese making group. Unfortunately when the entire group came back together for enjoying the pizzas, I was unable to take any photos.  But here is a snapshot of what some of our kiddos were up to today!
