Ways to Read A Book

Today was an exciting day in first grade!!  We had our first official Readers Workshop!  We started out by learning about 2 different ways to read a book: reading the pictures and reading the words. After discussing this and listening to a book called How to Read a Story, first graders got their very own book bins to read from!  They were so excited to choose their reading spots and get started!!  I can tell this is a group that loves books!!☺️
