Special Rocks

As a culminating activity to our mini rock unit, first graders will be painting a special rock which will be a symbol of how unique, special, and valuable they each are. After reading the wonderful book by Linda Kranz, You Be You, they completed the first step in this project: they chose their rock and painted it white.  Stay tuned for the completed project!
