Wow! Another great day in First grade! Some might even say that it was better than the first day! Today I did a little less talking and the students were able to do a little more "doing"! We even started the day by lighting our first lightbulb! What a fantastic start to the year.
Some of the highlights today included doing a project based on the book The Day the Crayons Quit, exploring some of our math manipulatives, having an extra recess to practice the recess expectations, and enjoying a short Choice Time as we continue to learn about our classroom.
