Fruit and Vegetable Farms

We had our second visit with Miss Virginia this week which focused on fruit and vegetable farms.  We learned about the variety of fruits and vegetables that grow right here in Vermont. We also learned about a seed, and all of the important parts that help it grow, as well as what the farmer has to do to help the seeds grow into healthy plants. We even got to do some sampling of some fruits and vegetables!!
