Germs!!

We had our first Health lesson with Nurse B!  This was the first in a series of three lessons that Nurse B. will teach all first graders.  Students learned all about germs, how they spread and the importance of keeping ourselves clean and healthy to battle the myriad of germs around us.  After seeing a slideshow, and listening to a book on the topic, Nurse B. did a mock germ spreading activity.  By using a special lotion, some student volunteers demonstrated how quickly and easily germs are spread.  This was clearly seen with the use of a black light!
