Apples and Applesauce!

During our Farms unit, first graders learn about various types of farms, and about the economic cycle of Buy, Produce, and Sell.  We started our unit with dairy farms, and then moved onto fruit and vegetable farms.  We ended our week by leaning about Apple farms, how apples grow, different varieties of apples, and we even made some applesauce and did some apple sampling!  Yum!!
